In the world that we live in today, almost everyone is experiencing high levels of chronic stress. For most people, this is not something they are even aware of. It’s become the norm and they don’t recognize it in their body anymore.
However, the body cannot sustain this state indefinitely. At some point, the stress from a chronically activated sympathetic nervous system (fight-or-flight) will lead to a total collapse of your well-being. This can include physical disease, mental health problems, emotional breakdown and/or a major life crisis. When it gets to this point, it’s a sign the stress has been going on for a long time. It is also much harder to correct at this stage. Therefore, it’s important to manage your stress regularly so it doesn’t build up to such a detrimental level.
In order to do that effectively, let’s first understand what stress really is and the purpose behind it.
Spiritual Perspective on Modern Day Stress
Stress is a survival mechanism the body uses to communicate perceived danger. Back in the days, this would be something like being chased by a lion because that would literally mean death. Since there’s no lions roaming wildly around cities, what stresses people out nowadays?
Life challenges! Things like health problems, financial hardship, family drama, relationship conflict and career instability. If you think about it, these worries make a lot of sense. Disease can lead to death. Money problems relate to no food and shelter. Family drama has to do with the fear of your tribe disowning you, which would affect your safety. Relationship conflicts mean the risk of losing a partner to procreate with. Career instability affects status, which helps attract a partner. All of these issues threaten people’s basic sense of survival, but in a modern way.
Everyone experiences life challenges. In my opinion, life challenges are spiritual initiations for the soul to wake up from the great illusion of reality. It’s also to help people remember who they truly are – powerful spiritual beings capable of co-creating reality with the Divine using their consciousness. Until people wake up and remember that, they will continue to live in fear and worry about their ability to survive in life.
Finding the Cause to Your Stress
Things are never quite black and white in life. Identifying the source of your stress often does not end up being one single thing. When we consider the fact that we are multidimensional beings and start to peel back the layers, things get quite complicated. We start to realize that many factors beyond life challenges link together to cause stress.
Examples can include:
- Your biography (the story you tell yourself)
- Ancestral stress passed down from your family line epigenetically
- Environmental stressors
- Trauma from a past life, present life and/or other existences
Whatever the combination is, know that your body has the ability to heal itself fully. But it can only do that when it feels safe. When you’re under stress, your body is on guard anticipating danger and preparing to fight or run from it. All resources are put towards doing that, not towards healing.
Even if you do manage to eliminate the reason(s) causing your stress, you still have to turn off the stress response in your body to stop the cycle. You need to find a way to deactivate your sympathetic nervous system and activate your parasympathetic nervous system instead.
Music as Medicine for the Mind, Body & Soul
The easiest and most effective way to do that is with sound healing music. Sound vibrations affect your body, mind and soul powerfully. The right kind of sounds can instantly soothe your nervous system, helping you release your stress and shift your mood.
But not all music has healing effects or is considered as medicine. It depends on many factors such as the song being tuned to 432Hz instead of 440Hz, the tones within the singer’s voice and the intention put into the music during its creation. Energy carries information so the sound frequencies in a song are embedded with subliminal information that comes from the person who created it. If the person is not clear, the intentions behind the music won’t be either.
Therefore, if you want to heal with music, it’s important to pick something created with that intention. That’s what I do with my music. This song of mine contains angelic light language and sound tones designed to bring a sense of relaxation and calmness to your body. The music is paired with etheric surgery. This combination works to remove the stress locking your sympathetic nervous system in “ON” mode while also clearing the energetic blocks in your bioenergetic system (i.e. meridian channels, chakras and biofield/aura). It takes the definition of music medicine to a whole new level!
You can watch my hands working in the biofield. However, I recommend you listen to it laying down with your eyes closed. The best way to experience it is to feel the energy move through your body and nervous system.
