With everything unfolding in the world right now, many people feel a quiet longing to return to a time when we lived in harmony with the rhythms of nature.
In Lemurian traditions, this harmony is weaved into everyday life through a deeply heart-centred matriarchal culture that cherishes all living things.
Matriarchal does not mean women ruled over men. Instead, it means living in reverence for the Divine Feminine and honouring intuition, creativity, emotional wisdom, and our sacred relationship with nature.
The Feminine Wound
Lemurians see the Earth as a conscious living feminine being and when humanity lives in harmony with her, balance naturally emerges. Sadly, this wisdom got lost with the fall of human consciousness. Over time, the feminine principle became suppressed or distorted, both within society and within people’s inner world. This is what is known as the feminine wound.
It can appear in many forms, such as:
- the silencing of the heart’s intuitive wisdom
- feeling uncomfortable with emotions or the inability to cry
- being too in the head (thinking) and not in the heart (feeling)
- valuing productivity over nurturing rest
- a society that prioritizes science & technology over creative arts
- male chauvinism and the objectification of women
- polluting the environment and mindless extraction of natural resources
The feminine wound is also known as the mother wound because it can often be traced back to the relationship we have with our mother. Since our mother is deeply connected to our father, the feminine wound tends to be intertwined with the masculine/father wound. Healing one will most likely bring up the other.
Healing the Divine Feminine
Many spiritual traditions say humanity is now entering a time when the Divine Feminine is returning, not as a takeover but as a restoration of balance.
This return begins with healing the feminine wound within ourselves. It begins with remembering how to:
- listen deeply
- feel fully
- honour intuition
- nurture life rather than destroy it
- reconnect with the living spirit of Mother Earth
In the film Katô: Dreams of Dark Earth, an indigenous Amazonian elder said shamans drink traditional brews made of plants from the rainforest. The consciousness of these plants would teach them how to dream (soul journey), sing, cry, and tell stories. That’s how they healed. He said nowadays, this generation doesn’t really know how to cry like how people used to cry in the past.
Crying is a genuine release of emotions and the first step towards healing. But crying can only happen if someone is connected to their heart and feels comfortable being in their feminine energy.
Changing the World from Within
In Lemuria, sacred songs are used as powerful tools for healing and restoring harmony. This is one of the reasons why I share my light language music. It’s to help people heal, but also to invite the Divine Feminine to return so Lemuria can rise again.
When we heal the feminine wound within ourselves, something beautiful happens externally. The world around us begins to change as well.
Communities become more compassionate.
Creativity flourishes.
Nature is treated as a living partner rather than a resource.
These are all signs of the Divine Feminine returning. Each time we choose compassion, kindness, intuition, creativity, and harmony in our life, we help bring this beautiful world a little closer into manifestation.
